
Only materials that are submitted to the judges according to the entry rules may be considered for the Justice Media Awards. Contestants, or those submitting materials on their behalf, must furnish the information requested on the official entry form, complete with the required number of copies of the printed or broadcast work – including a printed summary (where requested) – and submitted with their entries. Awards will be made for articles/works published between 1st March, 2011 and 28th February, 2011.
All entries must be accompanied by an official entry form – fully completed and signed by the journalist(s), or journalistic team in the case of a jointly-produced radio or TV programme. A separate entry form must accompany each entry (a photocopy of the original form will suffice). Download and complete an Entry Form (use Adobe Reader 7 or later).

Newspapers - Dailies/Sundays/Editorials

Newspaper entries may consist of editorials, feature articles, news articles or interpretative columns. Six copies of the original published work must be submitted (One original and five photocopies - at the same size as the original - will suffice). Entries are limited to three articles per journalist, or same team of journalists.
Court Reporting - Print/Broadcast

This category incorporates the important skill of court reporting, including the coverage of tribunals and other legal fora (as reported in both print and broadcast media). Such reporting should foster greater public understanding of the law, the legal system or any specific legal issue. It may, though not necessarily, provide interesting commentary on the legal system. Six copies of the original published work must be submitted (One original, and five photocopies - at the same size as the original - will suffice). Entries are limited to three articles per journalist.
Radio - National/Local

One CD of the item as broadcast (MP3 or WAV format is required), along with a 150-word printed summary of the item, which must be submitted.
Entries are limited to three articles per journalist, or the same team of journalists.
Television - News/Features, Documentaries

One DVD of the item as broadcast along with a 150-word printed summary of the item, which must be submitted.
Entries are limited to three articles per journalist, or the same team of journalists.
